The driving is completely normal with the exception that everyone is aggressive and there doesn't seem to be any laws but cameras everywhere.
Today I watched no less than 3 motorcycles run red lights while turning left at the intersection with said light.
Everyone knows where the speed cameras are so people speed as fast as possible until right before the camera. Meaning I'm the "beginner driver π" going 30 km/h holding up speed racers.
Turn lanes either have an arrow turning either direction, an arrow going straight with another going either direction, or an arrow going straight or either direction and a u-turn arrow. None of these indicate when it is a turn-only lane and many times the lane ends because either (1) it's a turn-only lane or (2) cars are just parked along the side of the road IN THE LANE.
Highway tolls are easy if you have the dash pass. But if you don't, make sure you're not in a lane colored blue or orange because then you won't get the toll ticket to allow you to pay at the next toll gate. Unless they're the only lanes open and the attendant tells you to just go on. Each toll gate you pay at, the attendant then needs to call "someone" to tell them about the foreigner that doesn't know how to use the tolls.
Left turn arrows are shown for every lane regardless of if it's a turn lane. As the picture shows, it sits to the right of the red and messes with your brain. Sometimes the yellow comes on but it only means the arrow is turning yellow and you can continue driving straight.
When people are in the crosswalk, drivers will go around the cars that are patiently waiting for the humans.
Today, I drove down a street that should have been a thru street. Instead, it was blocked off at the end so now I was stuck in a one-lane road with cars parked on either side. Multiple cars were trying to do the same and we all had to back out of the full block with hazards on. Once I got back there, at least 3 cars were waiting for this fuckery to end. Trapped and confused.
